NuYo – An SBA Community Advantage Loan Success Story

June 12, 2014 | Small Business Loans

NuYo is a frozen yogurt shop located in Roseville, California. What’s special about this franchise’s location was that it was purchased through the help of the SBA Community Advantage loan program. Kimberly and Matthew Guyton were presented with a dream opportunity to acquire the Roseville NuYo Frozen Yogurt shop. Their bank was unable to provide them with funding, but referred them to CDC Small Business Finance (CDC). Enter the Community Advantage Loan to fulfill Kimberly and Matthew’s loan needs.

The Community Advantage loan, which can range from $20,000 to $250,000, is backed by the SBA, which allows CDCs to make loans that may not be available through traditional banks. Most Community Advantage loans are approved within 5 to 10 days.

Hear Kimberly and Matthew’s story in the video below. Congratulations!
