CDC Small Business Finance, in partnership with Pacific Mercantile Bank, has closed one of the largest SBA-504 loans in Inland Empire history – a $23 million transaction to finance the purchase of a Corona production facility and equipment for Veg-Fresh Farms, one of the larger fresh-vegetable wholesalers in Southern California.
Currently located in a 100,000-square-foot building in Anaheim, Veg-Fresh anticipates moving into its new, 187,000-square-foot facility on Rincon Road in Corona next year. The company will initiate tenant improvements to customize the building for its use. Over the next two years, Veg-Fresh projects it will create 60 new jobs. The company currently employs 240.
