Small business owners in Los Angeles, more than those in any other metro area in California, took advantage of SBA-504 financing to buy their own buildings in 2013. Here’s how markets ranked in terms of total dollars provided to small businesses looking to expand and create new jobs:
- Los Angeles – $539 million
- Orange County/Inland Empire – $347 million
- Bay Area – $331 million
- San Diego – $127 million
- Sacramento – $102 million
- Fresno – $90 million
Arizona and Nevada small businesses received $54 million and $76 million, respectively, in SBA-504 financing in 2013.
