Susan Lamping

Susan Lamping is the Vice President of Sales at CDC Small Business Finance, where she has led the organization’s Small Business Lending division for more than two decades. She oversees a national team of loan officers dedicated to helping local businesses access the capital they need through direct financing, partnerships, and referrals.

With a background in international development, Susan served in the Peace Corps in Nepal after graduating Magna Cum Laude in Economics from San Diego State University. She later earned a Master’s degree in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training and is proficient in three languages.

Her leadership and community impact have earned her multiple honors, including the SBA Financial Services Advocate of the Year for the San Diego District, recognition as one of the San Diego Business Journal’s 50 Women of Influence over 50, and honorary membership in SCORE for her long-standing contributions.
