Hispanic-owned businesses significantly impact communities and local economies and help create future economic success for our nation.

At CDC Small Business Finance, our mission is to foster inclusive and equitable communities by providing people access to the capital and opportunities they deserve. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, we’re highlighting the substantial role Latino-and-Hispanic-owned small businesses play in our economy.
Hispanic-owned businesses are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the US and play a vital role in our economy. The economic clout of Hispanic entrepreneurs continues to rise as they are represented in all the major industry sectors, owning businesses in manufacturing, education, health services, finance, construction, and much more.
Although Hispanic-owned businesses continue to progress culturally and economically, the community has been struck particularly hard during the pandemic. These long-lasting effects even have the potential to derail the monumental strides Hispanic business owners have made in the past decade.
Supporting your local Hispanic-owned businesses can help make a difference in your community and local economy. During this time (and in the foreseeable future), it would be helpful to patronize a Hispanic-owned business. Doing so can aid in the future economic success of our nation.
