After years in fashion design, production, and education, Laura Lafrance saw a gap facing emerging designers. A $45,000 SBA 7(a) Community Advantage loan from CDC Small Business Finance helped her establish LaFrance Studio in Jacksonville and build the infrastructure needed to serve designers and launch the Sew-Jax Academy.
