Byron is responsible for leading, managing, advising, and providing strategic direction to the team of business advisors who consult with potential and existing small and medium-sized business owners and partners across the Momentus Capital family of organizations.
Byron was previously Senior Vice President of Community Development at Texas Capital Bank. He managed the Community Development team, oversaw bank assessment areas, led and managed FDIC CRA exams, and managed the bank’s $2.5 million-dollar annual grant budget. Before that, Byron was President/CEO of the Long Beach Center for Economic Inclusion, where he designed programming and services that assisted low-income communities of Long Beach. His career has also included positions at CIT/OneWest Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and JPMorgan Chase Bank. Byron earned his BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Oklahoma. He actively supports various organizations through board service, leadership, and volunteerism.
